    Hi all...
As a full score by Dominic Muldowney was recently released on CD, I was thinking: Wouldn't it be great to have a DVD with two seperate audio tracks, one with Muldowney's score and one with Eurythmics, to be able to hear the lost version of the film? So who owns the rights to 1984, anyway?

In the dying days of laserdisc, Image released a pan-and-scan 1984 LD, and ITC Entertainment and Polygram were the copyright holders. Carlton International
bought the ITC library from Polygram in 1998. So, Carlton would be the company to lobby for a release. A & E is releasing Carlton's TV product in North America, and Artisan has been the DVD provider here for ITC feature films. It puzzles me why this movie is not on DVD yet.
