Also, is the same drive-train used in another vehicle or truck?
the H2 is based on the Chevy Suburban platfrom IIRC.
So it uses the same engine and tranny as a Suburban?
I assume so, but don't know if for a fact.
Charles: Ok, thanks. Can anyone confirm the engine and tranny are from a Suburban? Got a bet with someone at work. I say it's a GM product, he's says it's a Chrysler product.
It is a GM, specifically the new Suburban. Why would Hummer, the civilian version of which is division of GM, use a Chrysler frame and drivetrain?
Its definitely GM. The h3 version is using alot of parts from the Chevy Colorado.
if you happen to need proof then here it is........ http://www.gm.com/automotive/vehicle...nds/index.html
it's a GM, but I didn't think it was te suburban, I thought it was one of the smaller trucks like the yukon or something.
Definitely a suburban
think so? awfully short. Maybe it's tahoe I'm thinking of. Is the tahoe the same as the suburban? I really don't know(care)
(from http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...mm/index1.html) So whaddya know, we're both right Built on the shorter Tahoe platform with Suburban parts.
