    I have three...
For me, hands down, would definatly be David Huddelston as Santa in Santa Claus the Movie. He is just an epic Claus in that film, so kind and jolly, plus he had THE perfect Santa laugh too. Plus, the film is one of my old sentimental favorites, I love the music in it.
Second choice would have to be Tim Allen in The Santa Clause. He looked so cute and jolly when he started to plump up and got the beard and everything. By the end of the film, he really looked the part.
Third would be Art Carney as Santa in The Night They Saved Christmas. He was sort of a tougher Santa then you usually find in these kinds of films.
So HO HO HO, pardon me, couldn't resist[IMG], who is your favorite Saint Nick?

Make that three Edmund Gwenn's, he's been Santa ever since I saw "Miracle on 34th Street" as a kid.

I'm partial to Dan Aykroyd's portrayal of Santa Claus in Trading Places. [IMG]

How about the Santa from Black Christmas? [IMG]
Between him and the guy in A Christmas Story, it's obvious Bob Clark has a real problem with Santa.

How about when Eddie Murphy played "Santa" on SNL many years ago?! Funny stuff.

I did enjoy Tim Allen as Santa also.

Edmund Gwenn is a favorite but when I saw The City Of Lost Children, Daniel Emilfork as Krank became my top Santa.
