After getting my rocks off playing Half Life 2 on the Xbox, I am hungry for more.
Thinking about going backwards and picking up the first Half Life on PS2 that I have yet to play.
    Is it worth it.
I hear no gravity gun [IMG] , but how does it stack up to HL2?

(and please lets not turn this into, "just get the pc version" beings my pc sucks at playing games)

I loved HL1 on the PS2, but I haven't played HL2 yet (except for some deathmatches at the office on PC).

It's not going to compare to the graphics of HL2 on the XBox, but the gameplay is still there. And it's probably under $10 these days, so you can't go wrong.

HL1 is very undemanding though.. my p3-450mhz with geforce2 runs HL1 fine.

It's a good port, very solid and the controls are easily adjusted. It's also budget-priced, and definitely worth a buy if you're not 100% sure your PC won't have incompatibilities. I had more fun playing the console version than the PC version (streamlined controls, no video card issues), but if you're married to the mouse/keyboard, it might not be your cup.

The save system is nice, too. You can save anywhere, just like on the PC.
