I don't remember watching a trailer as effective as this one. THAT's how you do a trailer. That thing had me hooked from the very first second. The only trailer that I can remember coming close (IMO) was the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Dead people captured on tape. And you can very clearly hear what they're saying. So I go, "hey, how creepy. That's probably a promo for a new Sci-Fi channel special or something. That would make for a very cool and scary movie.". Next scene I see Michael Keaton listening to a dead relative captured on tape and I realize it IS a movie.
Needless to say, I'm so there when this thing opens up!
