Afterwards, I went back to my home theatre and put on last year's 4K UHD of Singin' In The Rain and ran a few sequences, because I thought I remembered the picture from the 70th anniversary edition looked even more colourful than what was on display in Babylon. And indeed it was - which was gratifying. It truly is a marvellous time to be a film collector these days.
