As I said elsewhere, I REALLY think there will be no announcement for December releases. On the wbshop, they have put up their various Teen Titans releases, plus Bennett's War on DVD (which we had no previous warning about), all scheduled for December 3. All that, combined with the fact that they have generally taken December off in years past (and I really wonder how much stuff being released last December was due to all the trouble caused by the Blu-ray replication plant being closed), all adds up to the likelihood that nothing further will be announced (at least, not until next month when they announce January releases). Obviously, I don't know that for a fact, but that's what it *currently* looks like.

If there indeed are no December releases, the final releases of 2019, starting with The Bad And The Beautiful, are stellar and match the big final releases of the last few years.

I have a feeling there won't be any more Warner Archive announcements until 2020.

I think so Ken. Last December 2018 was one of the Best Warner Archive months. This December, Nothing ! ? : ( Disappointed. I was hoping for The Curse of Frankenstein for a Christmas present to myself.

If true, that would mean there will be no new WAC releases until February for those announced in January, which would be a two-month pause in releases, not one. That would be a first for WAC.

November isnt over yet, but whether or not they announce anything is out of our control. Maybe their waiting for the day before Thanksgiving ?
If they do make announcements, great, if not, that's life. I have TONS of WAC movies that Id love to upgrade my DVDs but in the meantime I still watch the DVDs and enjoy them. Plus other labels have titles of interest that Im getting :)

I'm sure Mid December they will announce New titles for January 2020. I can wait. In the meantime I added ... Scarface (1932) Hammer Vol.4 set is due any day, Abbott & Costello Universal set I will be getting from Amazon. Dracula (1979) Nov.26th, and Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde on December 10th ! These will keep me busy for a while. : )

Exactly.. Im digging into the Abbott and Costello set, I have the Omen Collection, The Daniel Craig Bond UHD 4K set, Scarface 1932 still needing to watch.
Next week Ill have the Indicator Hammer Volume with Scream of Fear on it,
And I need to do a Warner at the movies DVD check again with my Forbidden Hollywood's 2 & 3.- I have to make sure those movies still play or if I need to replace them like I did with FH1.

Well, it looks like today is the day they are doing announcements for at least January, as they have started off by announcing the 1954 Jane Russell film Underwater.

When are we going to get more animation? George Feltenstein said more was forthcoming on one of the September podcasts, but the Archive has kept completely mum about it.

Some classic 40's-50's animation would be welcome! More Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, Tex Avery, Woody Woodpecker, Popeye (including the three extra-length specials). I am still awaiting the ever-delayed release of Thunderbean's Aesop's Fables featuring some of the classic Van Beuren shorts (still coming, apparently). I find most of the made-for-tv (limited) animation pretty crude and unfunny, almost all with laugh tracks that simply add to the un-funniness.

Yeah, WAC is falling back on their standby of cheap-and-easy-to-restore 50's and 60's films. You can't even say they'd sell to an enthusiastic niche like the horror titles.

Nothing for me with these 4 titles. Nothing from my wish list that's for sure. They Never release 4 strong classic titles that many fans have been waiting for. They have so many Gangster movies. I don't get it. ?? What happened to The Curse of Frankenstein ?? I don't think they are releasing it. Shout Factory must have it. I hope !

As others have stated I'm sure WB would do better with...

    The Sheltering Sky
    The Nun's Story
    Damn Yankees
    The Pajama Game
    The Silver Chalace
    Goodbye Mr. Chips
    Land of the Pharoahs
    among others..
