Disney's "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" has "Lonesome Ghosts" and, unbilled, "Susie the Little Blue Coupe." The latter, as best as I can figure out, is accessible only if you play and win a kind of video/trivia game on the disc. A real pain.

WB has some upcoming Dr. Seuss releases. One of them (I forget which) will contain a Seuss-written, Chuck Jones drawn, and Mel Blanc voiced "SNAFU" short. Right now the source of my info is unavailable, so I'll get the details when I can (probably tomorrow, or perhaps even Monday-Tuesday).

Thanks everyone! Keep them coming. :)

Also I'd like to thank Disney & WB for putting these out in the first place. These are some of my favorite DVD supplements.

Snow White SE - THE GODDESS OF SPRING (avail on Silly Symphonies)
I don't remember "The Goddess of Spring" being on th Silly Symphonies set. I think there was a poster for it or something, but the actual cartoon was not in the set. Can anyone confirm this?

Okay, here's the deal with the Dr. Seuss stuff:

The above are two releases from Warner, scheduled for 11/18 (SRP is $19.98 each).

The one on the left has the bonus cartoon short: "Bonus WWII cartoon, Private Snafu: Spies - written by Dr. Seuss, directed by Chuck Jones and voiced by Mel Blanc"

This is a fitting supplement for that disc, as you can tell from the description of the release: "The story of Seuss's life is animatedly told via celebrity skits, music and animated clips from many of Seuss's best-loved stories. Cast includes Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Christopher Lloyd, Patrick Stewart, Kathy Najimy, David Paymer and more. Adults will love the biographical/factual content while children of all ages will be entertained by the characters, animation, music and humor."

The release on the right is described this way, by-the-way: "Contains three Dr. Seuss favorites - Horton Hatches the Egg, The Butter Battle Book, and Daisy Head Mayzie. A must-have for Seuss fans of all ages! Director: Chuck Jones" There are no supplements on that one, though.

Hey, I don't know if this is the sort of thing you want, but Brentwood's Rescue From Gilligan's Island DVD has a "Little Rascals" short: Spooky Hooky.

The Chuck Jones doc DVD also has Feed The Kitty.

The Wizard of Oz (Warner edition) has a partial clip of Ted Esbaugh's "epic" Wizard of Oz cartoon (in horrible quality, though).

The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T has a Gerald McBoingBoing cartoon.

ALSO!

Just in, the upcoming "The Best of Dr. Seuss" DVD will include the newly restored version of Horton Hatches An Egg. The titles will be missing (they were sadly cut out of the original negative upon its re-release), but it'll finally be watchable.

This probably means the prints of the other WB cartoons on the various DVD's will also be restoration versions.
