Which way should my PB10 face? (1 Viewer)

I'm expecting my PB10 tomorrow (whooo-hoo!), and am wondering which way I should orient the driver? I'll either be placing the sub along a wall about 3 ft from a corner, or in the corner itself.

If along the wall, should the driver be facing towards the listeners, or away?

If in the corner, towards either wall, or along the wall facing the listeners, or along the wall at the front of the listeners?

Or does it matter at all?

I would think that each room will be different so what may work in yours... In my limited experience with subs, moving them a little can make a big difference. I think you have to experiment with your placement options to find the one that works best in your room. If it were me, if I was corner loading, I'd start by facing the driver towards the corner to let the sound bounce out of the corner towards the room. See how that works. This may be a tedious process. May even have to re-calibrate every time you move the thing. That's what I had to do. But, once you find the sweet spot, you'll be good to go for the long run.

If you place this with the driver facing the wall, make sure you leave enough room so the port isn't compromised. It's facing the same direction as the woof. Give us your impressions once you've had time with it.
