Hello to all,
I am seeking advice on which upgrade to do first to my system. I am trying to decide whether to get an Ati 1505 amplifier or two CS+ 16-46 SVS subwoofers. They are roughly the same cost.
My current setup:
Denon AVR3300 receiver
Hafler DH500 Amp powering front speakers
Polk Rta11t front speakers
Polk CS400 center
Polk Fx-500i surrounds
Velodyne CT-150 subwoofer
Sony DVP-NS900V DVD/SACD
TOSHIBA SD-5700 DVD/DVD AUDIO
OUTLAW ICBM
Room size approx. 5000 cu. feet
If I go with the subs I would use the Hafler to power them and use the Denon to power the front speakers. I also will probably sell the velodyne reducing the cost of that upgrade. If I go with the amp the Hafler will be set aside until I would get the SVS subs. I guess I am wondering which one of these upgrades will give me the most dramatic improvement to my system. Any advice from all you experts out there will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Greg Johnson
