My brother and I were just now talking about this film and how great it is, it's been a long time since i've even seen it, even tv has stopped showing it.

He asked me if it was on DVD and I told him I didn't think it was and he said very rightfully so "That sucks, i'm surprised it's not on DVD."

So which studio has this film and why on Earth isn't it on DVD after all these years? [IMG]

With so much junk coming to DVD rather quickly, it's sad that a wonderful film like this that may just give some inspiration to some people is being ignored, I don't get that at all.

    John,I agree wholeheartedly.
Check out this thread and there is a link to a petition in there too.

On a side note, I was just watching Mean Girls and there is a nice little homage to Angus in the Prom scene. [IMG]

Thanks, guy's, I signed the petition this afternoon. [IMG]

Unbelievable, Gigli gets a DVD release without question, but getting this great film on DVD is like pulling teeth!

The studio's need to prioritize their libraries better.

I picked this up on laser a couple years back. Unfortunately, it's pan and scan only, but hey...gotta do what you gotta do.

I would snatch up the DVD in a heartbeat.

Your right, maybe I should pick this up now, even though it's open matted.

And just as soon as I finish my broken glass and rusty razor blade sandwhich, i'll get right on it. [IMG]

Strange that New Line hasn't gotten around to this yet, since they've put out a ton of their stuff. I've never seen this but want to, I passed up the laserdisc years ago because I figured New Line would put it on DVD soon- of course the other LD titles I did pick up have since come out!

I'd buy this on DVD for sure. I'm surprised we don't have it already...
