Hi All,

I just purchased a Samsung HL-R5067W DLP set. It has a HDMI input.

I have a Comcast Motorola 6412 set top box. And a Momitsu scaling DVD Player. Both have DVI-D outputs. Wondering which one I should use the new cable for. The other one would be component output.

Thanks for any input.

Convetntional wisdom says save the DVI/HDMI for your real HD. But, I have found that in experimentation, that the best combo often does not hold with conventional wisdom for any given set of equipment being connected together.

The high def stuff looks awesome thru the components on the cable box, so I think I will try it on the DVD. Mainly I need to free up one of the component inputs for the Xbox.

I was planning on saving my DVI input for my HD box. However, I've come to realize I do 90% dvd watching vs. 10% hd, so hd is going to component (still looks great over component).
