ok...I need a multi-satellite receiver with DD. Best buy, Circuit City, Rex have nothing in my area. None of their receivers match the model numbers for multi-satellite receivers on the Direct tv web site.

My old Hitachi is cooked, won't power up at all. Left it unplugged all night..still won't power up.

Any suggestions on where to buy and what. It seems the Direct tv website is out dated on model numbers.

If you are interested in DirecTV then check out www.orbistat.com. That's where I got my two TiVo's and dish. They have the multi sat dishes etc. at the best prices I've found. Great service too.

ALL new DirecTV receivers are multi-sat capable. Get the DirecTivo. CC has them for $99 and if you look over at Tivo Community there are copies of a rebate form floating around that will get you another $50 off.
