The Canare TS100(E) has 5 factory presets for different cable types:
    LV-77S, L-5CFB
    V*-5CFB
    V*-5C
    LV-61S, L-4CFB
    V*-3C

The above are for Canare cables, but I have the Belden 1694a cable. Which setting is the correct one for the 1694a? I'm trying do the DIY route using Chris White's recipe. Thanks in advance.

Thomas, look up the cable dimensions in a Belden catalogue or the Belden web site. They may match one of the Canare cable dimensions. If not, and they're very close to a Canare cable, try it.

    Hank,

I think you're right. Either way, I will need to manually look up the Belden 1694a size and re-adjust the stripper. I had hope the stripper came preset with the correct settings for it. In all my reading here and other websites on diy cables, I did not recall I needed to do this.
