The header says it all. I am looking for a good portable DVD player (with screen) that also plays MP3's on CDR-RW format. I love the Pioneer DV-LC10 but would like something that also plays MP3's. Please advise.

I'm not sure of the model # but Target has an RCA unit that plays MP3s. I think it goes for around $500. They also carry an Audiovox, but I'm not sure if that one plays MP3s/CD-R/RW

The new Sharp 8.6 inch screen model to be introduced in Japan this month will do the job. It will also display images from your digital camera. Should be in the USA market by Christmas.

if you're planning on spending around $1000, i'd recommend just getting a laptop. it'll play dvds and mp3 and do much more. they have bigger screens too. also are usually of better reliability and build quality.
