Which movie was worse, "The Fast and The Furious" or "Driven"

BTW you can simply state the name of the movie you think is worse. You can also state why if you want.

Never saw, Driven, but The Fast and the Furious was a BIG disappointment for me.

    Driven.
For me, no contest. I didn't try to judge either film on a technical level, as based upon other posters ( whom are more knowledgeable of such things ), both films failed to maintain any semblance of reality in terms of their technical specifics.
While I'm willing to give Driven some points for not creating a traditional antagonist and some attractive cinematography, it pretty much failed everywhere else, for me.
The Fast and the Furious felt like an updated version of the '70s car genre films and mostly worked for me on that level. Vin Diesel's strong screen presence helped this film quite a bit. Something that Driven really lacked.

That's like asking which is worse: Dog poop or cat poop. One's easier to clean up, but the other one smells a lot worse. [IMG]
I'd say that Fast and the Furious probably has more B-movie appeal and has a better pace to it. All Driven has is the Special Olympics of Bad Acting.

I would go with Driven. TF&TF, while the dialogue was inane and stupid (and very poorly delivered, to boot), it did have more of a "coolness" factor. Driven was just plain stupid through and through.

Driven flat out sucks compared to the Fast and the Furious and not just because of Stallone.

I kinda liked The fast and the furious once I saw it on DVD, although I thought it was bad in the cinema. Driven only has enjoyable races.

For me Fast and the Furious is an excellent popcorn movie, I really like it very much, with this kind of movies I tend to forget reality and just enjoy the ride, Driven just lacked the fun factor that FATF have.

Driven by an incredibly large margin! Downright horrible.

The Fast and The Furious was at least watchable, with some cool cars and at least some decent acting by Vin Diesel.

As a race fan/car nut, The Fast and The Furious was MUCH better than Driven, although it certainly wasn't a "great" movie either.

Driven was by far the worse film, because it took itself far too seriously, and therefore made the performances an embarassment on everyone's resume. The film was also technically inept, from bad editing to slipshod visual effects. The Fast and the Furious, on the other hand, is a film that has completely changed my opinion after watching it on disc this weekend. It's the biggest kind of guilty pleasure. It's the best kind of B movie to come along in 2001, and at least it's done very well (the final highway heist scene left me gasping).
I'm a serious hardcore film buff as the next guy (many of you know me well enough by now), but I love this. [IMG]

I could've really enjoyed TF&TF but the whole concept they used to hijack an 18 wheeler doing 80mph down the highway with a couple of souped up Hondas by shooting a tow line through the front window was such......bullshit. I'm sorry but no other words can express what it was. I'm sorry but if I'm behind the wheel of the 18 wheeler, all Honda high jackers are gonna die.....fast and furiously!!!

Driven. Saw it on the plane, it was either that or Burton's 'vision' of The Planet of the Apes. Should have watched Apes.

Rented the FatF. It was 'ok'.
