It crossed my mind for some reason today... I realized, within the past 11 years, since I was 9 years old I must have seen Terminator 2: Judgement Day nearly a hundred times, it was my favorite movie for years, and is still one of my tops pics, I remember loosing an actual count somewhere near in the 50s, and I've watched it many times since then. That is a lot of times to have seen a film!

So what movie have you watched the most times in your life?

It's hard to say, I haven't really been counting. I know I've seen both Pulp Fiction and The Rock from beginning to end 15 or so times apiece, beyond that I'm having a hard time coming up with one with as many viewings. Those both came out back when I was working at a movie theater so there were multiple theatrical viewings before I even got the DVD. I've watched Star Trek VI quite a few times too under the same circumstance. I almost never go to the movies anymore (too cheap) and I have so many DVDs that very few get watched more than a couple of times per year.

Probably Day of the Dead. At one point a few years back I watched it almost on a daily basis for a few months. I've also watched tons of times:
    Dawn of the Dead
    Home Alone
    The Sandlot
    Dumb and Dumber
    The Friday the 13th Series
    Back to the Future
    Forrest Gump
    Jaws
The Nightmare On Elm Street Series
    The Goonies
    The Wizard of Oz

Hard to say for sure, but Amadeus is definitely up there near the top.
Other notables would be Pulp Fiction and Taxi Driver.

Elementary school years we only owned a few movies I would watch (and those were taped off network TV) and we would watch them literally every day for a period of at least a year. Those movies were
    Return of the Jedi
    Wizard of Oz
If you're asking which movie I have watched the most times (while having a choice of other movies to watch) then the prize goes to
    Pulp Fiction
    and runner up
    Last of the Mohicans

Based on my ability a few years ago to recite practically the whole movie's dialogue from beginning to end, I would say "Back to the Future".

In the commercial cinemas, 2001: A Space Odyssey (63 times as of last month, at 35mm screenings in L.A.'s New Beverly Cinema). Will see it for at least a 64th time in a commercial cineman when it screens again at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood (70mm!). This is in addition to the countless times I've seen it privately in 16mm ('Scope and flat), on LaserDisc, and on DVD.

I would have to guess too as I haven't kept track:
    The Wizard of Oz
    Star Wars
Wargames (the first kid in my neighborhood to get a VCR had this so we watched it all the time, he also had Stripes, but we usually just watched a few scenes [IMG] )
    Holy Grail
Life of Brian (staple high school/college movies)

I would say A Christmas Story . I watch it at lease three times every Christmas. Love those 24 hour marathons.
