Two floor sample DVD players.

A is hooked up to a TV and is playing a Warner
Bro's Promo Sampler. Doesn't show any abuse or wear
but is probably kept on all day (for how many days/months, who knows).

B is placed in an out of the way place (not hooked up to a display) but is placed in a stack of DVD players, at the bottom no less-kept underneath 3-4 DVD players at least (not sure if it was 3-4 DVD players or a DVD player
and a receiver on top).

Of course both will be examined but I'd like to hear any input on this.

It's really a matter of luck, but I would personally go for the stacked player. It may be a little dustier, but it probably hasn't been playing discs all day for who-knows-how-long.

(If either are Sony players you can check the hours the laser pickups have logged in their service menus.)

Thanks Adam, that's what I was thinking. It's an RP82 so I don't think it has any logging features. I'll look at them closely.
