Which is a good Cancer Policy/ Insurance Company

    My wife has been on me to look for a cancer policy.
    Anybody have any Iders??

    What do you mean -- a life insurance that would only pay if you died from cancer? I wouldn't bother with that. I would recommend a normal (meaning death from any cause) 20-yr. term level rate policy through a reputable company that you think will be around (Zurich, GE, etc.)

    I recommended the 20-yr. term based on the assumption that you have young children, with the rationale being that your main goal is to get them through college or to adulthood. If you live through the 20 years, the hope is that you've saved enough to support your spouse if you were to die at that point. There are longer term policies available, but they will cost more.

    As for how much insurance to buy, I would say 20-30 times your current salary.

    Not a Cancer Death policy. Cancer Insurance that pays for
    stays and treatment of Cancer.. A friend has cancer and
    reg health Ins only pays so much.. Cancer police pays what the other does not pay.
