First of all, great Forum- [IMG] [IMG]

    I have a SONY 46 DVI-HDTV
    Denon 1804
    Panasonic F85
Motorola DCT 6200 HDTC Cable Box
Boston Acoustics 75s and CRC Center
    Bose Bookshelf rears
    Sony 12 inch sub

I would like to use a DVI cable to connect my HDTV box to the TV, but there seems to be a few types of DVI cables out there. Any idea on which one I need? Do you think it will make any difference?

    Thanks
    KC

get a DVI-I cable as it will do both digital and analog for you. I believe anyway. [IMG]

Actually you'd be safer with a DVI-D cable. The "I" version will have extra Analog pins added. If either your TV or STB is "Digital Only" the DVI-I cable will not plug in. There are also DVI-A cables but they are very rare as they are Analog only (what's the point? just use a vga cable.)

This Site has a good description of the differences in the "About DVI Cables" section.
