Which DVD player should I really look closely @? I don't really need Progressive Output, seeing my 32" toshiba is HDTV and not to mention, It doesn't have component video...

I am really looking @ the...

    Panasonic DVD-RV31K (Not Progressive)

Toshiba 4700 (Progressive with DVD Audio)

    Kenwood DV503 (Not Progressive)

Onkyo DV-C503 (Not Progressive, But is Carrosile)

Which one seems to have the best picture? Sound? Don't forget I can't view Progressive, so it has to look good thru S-Video...

Is it true that the Panasonic DOEN'T have Optical Audio only Digital Audio?

Right now the Toshiba 4700 looks like the BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK... Plus, it has GOLD conectors... Doe it look and sound good?

Is there any other ones that I should look @?

    Help...

    Thanks!

    Bill

I like the Panasonic RV31 and the Onkyo out of the ones you mentioned.
    What about Pioneer DV-440?
I suggest you go to www.audioreview.com if you haven't already and read some of the reviews there on the different DVD players.
    Good Luck.

There is a post on Dec 6th asking about progressive scan DVD audio players. A number of posts from Toshiba 4700 owners on it. They seem to love that unit.
