I was wondering which copy(of the remake with Liam Neeson) to pick up. I saw a dts version on lasersedge but it stated non-anamorphic. Is that correct for the dts version?

Wait until WB releases Robert Wise's version of THE HAUNTING. (which could be next year since it's the 40th anniversery)

That really is the best advice.

I just checked my copy, and the DTS version of the haunting is anamaphoric. The DTS version is the one that you want. It is an awesome sound experience.

I'd like to second what Patrick said. The new version doesn't deserve to be talked about in the same breath as the Robert Wise original. I really wish they'd called the 1999 version by some other title.

With all due respect to fans of the 1963 version of The Haunting, I think it borders on thread-crapping to respond to a specific software question with flames about the remake.
