Do I need to use rg6 all the way from dish to receiver, or will rg59 work? I've got a lot of rg59 already in place in my house, that would work well for carrying the signal to the receiver/tv.
    Thanks!

Short runs of RG59 will work. RG6 has a larger center conductor to carry the 13/18 volts back to the dish. It also has better shielding. Try the RG59 and if it works keep it. Remember to get rid of any splitters in the signal path from the dish to the receiver.
