Really. How much difference between the two? I'm currently using a CC6 and am very unhappy with it. It sounds muffled or nasal. Dialogue should be crystal clear.

    What are your mains?

I replaced my CC6 with a 602 which matches my L/R perfectly. You need a RPTV to do this since the 602 is not shielded, but if you can get a 602 that's my recommendation. The front soundfield in my HT is almost seamless. HUGE difference between the 602 and the CC6.

My mains are DM640's, a much earlier version of the current 604's. I love these speakers, plenty of bass and clear dialogue when watching TV in stereo mode. My rears are DM620's. The only weak link, when watching/listening to DVD's, is my CC6. I'm planning to purchase a Matrix HTM or CDM-CNT. I want crystal clear dialogue, and I can't use a full-size speaker (Wife Acceptance Factor). Which center should I purchase?

I am not familiar with what tweeter they use. the CDMNT would match better with any of the newer 800, 600 and cdm series since they use the same (or when referring to the 600-similar tweeter).
