I may be in the market for an amp to move from 5.1 to 7.1, and I was going to buy a used Parasound amp to go with my current Parasound 5-channel. Then I looked closely at the warranty conditions, and for Parasound amps it isn't transferable. My HCA-855A came from Ubid, and I've already had it repaired under warranty, so I see the warranty as a good thing.

What brands allow you to transfer the warranty (buying used)?

    Thanks,

Bryston - 20 year warranty - you pay for shipping to their facility. Must use original box or buy a replacement box from them.

This is as long as the serial number has not been tampered with or the item has not been obviously abused.

It is the best warranty in the business.
