which amp should i get out of these 4? buying amp tommorow please respond quick

    ok im running paradigm speakers, i got in my system
    fronts: monitor 7
    center: cc270
    rears: adp170
    sub: ps2200
    now here are the amps i have chosen
    brand ---------------price
    pioneer vsx-d914 ----- 500.00
    onkyo txsr502 -------- 600.00
    yamaha htr5760 ------- 700.00
    h/k avr130 ----------- 700.00
    h/k avr230 ----------- 900.00
    i was accually planning on buying an amp tommorow so please help.
    please suggest any other amps the amp i really want is the pionner vsx-d1014 but that doesnt come out till next month should i just wait till next month for the pionner vsx-1014, btw i will ask if i could exchange the pioneer amp when the next model comes out and i pay the defference thanks for the help

    If you really want the Pioneer then I would wait a month. If not either the Pioneer or the Onkyo. Have you tried the search function for each of the ones listed? H/K's seem to have a lot of problems(do a search on here for H/K).

    I'd take a look at Denon too.

    I like the DSP that Yamaha's have though.

    i live in canada and i dont feel like payng the duties and taxes from the states unless there is a good canadian website for speakers

    I love yamaha, can't go wrong with it in my opinion.

    I would try to look at the digital tri-path receivers as well. They are cheaper in cost but would definately outperform, IMO, the Pioneer and Yamaha. I had the Pioneer VSX-41, demoed the 912, and had a Ymaha HTR-5590. The Panasonic XR50 was better in sound than the above. Just my opinion though[​IMG]
