Good day,

My name is Cesar and I'm from the Netherlands.

I've been looking to buy a good 32 inch tv in the price range of about €500.
Today I went to the store and compared some tv's. The one that stood out to me was the LG 32LE5300.
It's a Full HD Edge-LED tv. In the store they had the news on with one of those bars in the bottom that shows the headlines moving from left to right. On this tv, it seemed fairly smooth compared to others. I have not been able to watch any fast-moving images on it.
But the thing that really drew me to this tv was its vibrant colours. The guy at the store told me that is because of the high contrast ratio that LED tv's have.

Would this tv be a good option for me? Or would it be better to look for a good regular LCD tv? It will be used mostly for watching Analog tv. playing dvd's and playing a PS3. Perhaps digital tv and blu-ray in the future.

I'm looking forward to hearing your advice.

Cesar.

at 32" you dont have the option of Plasma.

LGs makes some good LCD panels. Strongly consider a model that is THX certified.

Good luck!!

What exactly does that mean? And is the one I mentioned THX certified?
