I sold my no region 5.1 copy which had the cool DD helicopter trailer you see in theaters a couple weeks before the release of Orgazmo SE cause I wanted to get the better version and now it seems to have been delayed for some strange reason.I really wish I would have held onto my old copy now.Anyone know the the heck happened?[IMG]

Switched hands as far as rights are concerned-- the supplements are produced and awaiting release date.

There is some info on this if you do a search.

"I.....am Sancho! You are not Sancho! Scott Baio, he is not Sancho.

    ...but I...am Sancho!"

Hilarious movie. One year for Halloween I'm gonna make me up a Choda Boy costume, which is even more hilarious given the fact that I'm the physical opposite of Dian Bachar...

I could recommend the web site http://www.orgazmodvd.com/ for the latest official info, but it seems not even they know. At least not that I could find.

My (incredibly stupid) theory: Universal thought it was a porno film, due to the title, and decided not to release it because of this assumption...hey, stranger things have happened. [IMG]
Well, seriously, when titles change hands, DVD releases are sometimes delayed for a couple YEARS. Remember all the PolyGram DVD releases that got cancelled after the video rights switched to MGM, and just started to come to DVD last year?

Recently on the South Park website, they mentioned that the supplements are still being worked on. HERE
I wonder when this'll see the light of day.

Screw the SE, just put the !^!@#$^!@#$ movie out.

I've got friends who still haven't seen it, and I can't find a GD copy anywhere.

    I haven't checked E-Way yet though. Maybe I should.

The DVD producer posted at Orgazmodvd a few weeks ago that the new tentative date for the DVD release is November 2003.

Oooh, only a year-and-a-half delay! What were we all complaining about then? [IMG]
I swear, it's tough being a Matt and Trey fan these days.

It's not Matt&Trey's fault. The title changed hands from Polygram to Universal, and that's only the tip of the iceberg when a title changes hands. I think that a year delay is a tad long, but probably it took that long to get Universal to pay attention to it

No, I would never blame it on them, and I understand the whole situation with USA Films and Universal. I'm just saying, you know, between this and that bloody commentary thing....Grrr.

Dec. 30 was reportedly given as the release date on some internet chat with Matt Stone. This is the first time that they have had a release date for the dvd, and not just a general time frame. It sounds like it will finally happen, and he remarked that there may be some type of advertising push with the American Wedding dvd.
    EDIT>>
Yes, here it is on the davisdvd calendar.

Not that it would make a difference, but I'll show my support as someone who would buy this as soon as it comes available...
