I knew that would grab you.[IMG]

Anyone get their R1 S1&S2 set yet? Curious how it stacks up to the R2 release.

I ordered mine from Amazon.ca so it should take a few weeks to turn up.

Oh Smeg! I forgot this was coming out next week. I'm gonna have to find the best price. [IMG]

I assume that the discs will be exactly the same as the R2 since most of the BBC shows are.

amazon.ca now has the release date listed as march 4th so it looks like Canada is getting another release later than the US again. Oh well it is much cheaper from amazon.ca so I can wait.

It has...and yet not even a vaugue synopsis of what it would be about...either this is the most secretive movie ever made, or they don't have a plot yet :p

No, they've had a base script for a long time. They did read-thrus back in 2000.

Rumor has it Jackie Chan and Madonna want to/are going to be in it

It takes these sets far too long to get released. Once every half year? It'll take what, 3 more year to collect them all? Humanity could be extinct by then.

I preordered mine from DVDempire and they still list them as not in stock. Let's just say that that is a most unusual situtation for this close to the release date. I've wondered if I preordered too late or if the discs themselves are late in arriving. But then, they also list 'The Sign of Four' DVD as being not in stock.
