Are they ever gonna release a new ki..... that was the only reason i bought a 64, but now rare and ms have a thing going ....could it be on the xbox?? Anyone know?
Does anyone know of any games like ki with fat combos, and k-k-k-k-kombo breakers?? That game was the sh!t.

Heheh, that might be enough to get me to actually buy an xbox. Man, I loved the 2nd one. Not gonna call it the greatest game or anything, but it was the only fighting game where I came close enough to mastery that I felt like I could pretty much take out whoever happened to be playing at the time. Gotta love those manual combos.

AFAIK, after the MS/Rare deal, Nintendo now owns the licenses it had before Rare made games for them, like StarFox and Donkey Kong, whereas Rare retained all the original titles they developed, like Banjo-Kazooie, Conker, and even KI.

Rare has said before they have no interest in another KI, which is good and bad. Good because they'd rather get some good ideas first and bad because we have no more new KI.

A portion of this Greek interview has been translated, and though it still sounds rather wonky:

I used to love that game. That is my all time favorite fighting game. I was so mad when it went to and stayed on Nintendo. When it was on snes, that was fine cus that was the only thing out worth having. But when PS came out, I was praying it would be on there, of coarse it came out on N64.

But I pray for the day to hear Uuulraaaa Cooomboooooooo!!!!

(is it me or did that game have the best annoucer, and music)

When the game started up or when you put your quarters in, to her that deep, half way raspy voice say "KILLER INSTINCT!" and then hear the music come in. Oh man , goose bumps......

Long live Fulgore!!!! ( not to mention Spinal, Orchid, and THUNDER!!!) The list goes on really.

I hope they bring back Killer Instinct, the Xbox could really use a good fighting game after the yawnfest that was DOA3. Fighting games in general have been sort of stagnant lately, and KI would be a nice kick in the pants for the genre.

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I'd bump one. WHERE IS MY KI3?

I make a vow, and I expect you all to hold me to it. If KI3 comes out, I will without hesitation buy an XBox. The best fighting franchise ever!

As you can see from Sig, one would think I had an xbox, well I did. I sold it. I dont have it anymore.
If they release a New KI on the XBOX. On launch day I will go buy a new one. No questions asked.
    Release KI
Man I would buy an xbox if they just re release KI like they did with OOT.

I would love to have, finally, arcade perfect transfers of KI and KI2 on GameCube or Xbox. I'm thinking about buying the arcade maachines again...

KI GOLD was pretty similar to KI2, but it was lacking in some ways. KI was fun, but not nearly as amazing as the arcade. Even if all they released was a new version of the first KI, hello XBox.

Is there anything we can do about this? Write a letter, start a petetion (if petetions actually do anything). I really want this to happen.
