Where to Mount Surrounds (1 Viewer)

two options available for rear surrounds.
can mount directly behind seating on rear wall or
can mount on side walls behind seating.

which would give the best sound?

what speakers, and how high/low will they be? I had a pair of s 26's mounted about 2 feet above ear level on the wall (like #2 above) and it sounded great...let us know.

that would actually be another question, what type of surrounds for the seating setup.
seating will be between 2 walls in rear about 9 1/2' apart, then the room opens up to starting at 6' out to 13' then to 19' where the tv will be. 24' long.
i would like the surrounds to consume the entire rear of the room with sound as there will be a chair out of the direct range of the rear surrounds.

they can be placed at any height right now.
