Where to get good deal on HDTV in Dallas area? I have narrowed it down to Hitachi, Toshiba or Mitsubishi. I want the smaller sets 42" to 46". Any suggestions would help.

Well if you want the cheapest price, I would suggest the Frys in Arlington, at Matlock and I-20. However, the service is bad, and if the set breaks they can be a pain to deal with. However, they are cheap, and often run deep price slashing (a couple of months ago they were selling the Panasonic 47" set for $1400).

The Hometheater Store has pretty good service and salespeople, but you will pay list price.

Post on the Dallas Home Theater Group web site. There are a few people there that are in good with the local dealers and get good pricing {with local service to boot}. I picked up my Panasonic HDTV receiver and oval dish for a great deal a few months back...
