I'm certain this has been answered a bunch of times before, but doing a search on any keywords that make sense brings up waaaay too many results to pick through!
So: What's the best way to find out what a film's OAR is other than the "Technical Specifications" section of the IMDB? Many, MANY titles listed there don't have OAR info on them (Operation Petticoat, for example...and as we all know that's an issue lately!).
Where is an alternative place to look? Even to look off-line; I can be old-fashioned! [IMG]

Another handy tip can be to look under the Laserdisc and DVD details - if a letterbox version is present, that is likely to be in the OAR.
If neither Technical, Laser or DVD details is present, I don't know...

    (Theatrical Aspect Ratio): 1.85:1
(Measured DVD Anamorphic Aspect Ratio): 1.85:1
(Measured DVD Letterbox Aspect Ratio): 1.85:1

Thanks for the tip about "widescreenreview.com", but would they review a P&S or Open Matte disc? For example, is Mr. Mom or Space Jam reviewed there? Since IMDB doesn't list the OAR of Mr. Mom, how can I find out what the DVD should be, since it's MARred? I just checked, and didn't see any of those titles!
As for the "laserdisc details" on the IMDB, I've already been checking that, but thanks for bringing it up!
