I have looked all week online and have been unable to get anything more than a mildly detailed jpg or PDF file. I must not be looking at the correct sites, because I know that there are detailed maps out there in cyberspace.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks :b

Have you tried any of the online maps at the University of Texas-Austin library (Perry-Castañeda map collection) ? I've used them before, but don't remember what's online now for Russia or Europe.

You really need to poke around a bit in my experience using their web site & links.

    hope that helps,

Peter, yes, they have been my primary map place, but the maps are just not detailed enough. Most are only list major cities and water flows. [IMG]
