where to find beginner's info to learn about home theatre basics (1 Viewer)

While reading these threads , I am overwhelmed with the words, but really want to learn the basics so I can learn more. Does anyone know books, websites to go to for me to begin to learn all this? BTW, I am building a new home. Framing is done and putting the plumbing in now. Electric is next. 3 stories, including a basement. Chuck
