I was impressed with www.postersfast.com . Ordered some posters and had them 3 days later, and this was just last week, at the height of the shopping season.

Do you know of any Retail Type stores (Suncoast for example) that may sell some? I was at Rick's and he has a great selection of posters I just thought they would be less money, lol.
    Thanks for the fast replies
Oh yeah- any idea where to go to find inexpensive frames for the posters? And have any idea how much a frame may cost, just looking for cehap [IMG]
I have some places on my wall that the paint came off and gave me a great reason to decorate the apartment.

Although I can't vouch for the Movie Poster Warehouse ONLINE, I can do so in-store because I've been in there many times and have purchased posters from their before.
They have replica posters, real posters that are double sided and very thick in material, and you can have the poster mounted on a board...it looks very nice (but expensive I think).

Just a *possible* warning about ALLPOSTERS.COM....
I have the standard 27x40 frames that I ordered
    from Showoff Displays.
I ordered a few posters from ALLPOSTERS. Their
service and prices were excellent, but their
JAWS and THE MATRIX one-sheets came up very short
    in fitting into my frame.
Now perhaps the blame should not go to ALLPOSTERS,
    but I can't see why their 27x40 one-sheets should
    come up short.

For a year now I have been trying to find a place that sells a poster to one of my favorite movies of all times, "Amadeus". I went through all suggested places in this thread and still no luck. Anyone have any other ideas? I find it strange that such a big movie doesn't have any posters.

The best retail outlet store for posters that I am aware of is Hollywood Book and Poster Company on Hollywood Blvd. Besides posters and books, they also have a nice collection of stills. Hope this helps.

    Ron,
I'm not sure this is the case, but usually reprinted(replicas) posters are shorter than the originals.
This is the only way I know of to tell the difference.

And I just took a look at allposters and from the look of those prices($12.99) they would have to be reprints.

The Movie Poster Warehouse is in Toronto, Canada but their website seems to be geared more for the US because they list prices in US dollars...

I prefer The Nostalgia Factory www.nostalgiafactory.com for movie posters - they have a good amount of classic, current and international posters as well as press kits and other memorabilia. They have a walk-in store in the North End of Boston as well, but their website is pretty easy to use.

    Thanks all.
Now question about frames. I am really looking for cheap frames, just something to give the posters a "finished" look. I am a poor college boy and cannot afford $30 on just a frame. You guys have any suggestions where to look and what to expect as far as prices?
    Thanks

I can recommend Rick at ShowOffDisplays for the best frames out there for your posters. Give him a call and see what he can do for you.
