... or a good online dealer in Canada. Hard to find a Canadian dealer. Only found one, and the price seems excessive.

Thanks!
Martin.

Long n Mcquade sells it for, $189! Full list price I believe. If you find a good price let us know, I need one in T.O also.

Ned,

Thanks for the info. The only place I could find searching the Internet was a company in BC, and they wanted $225.

I'll probably just head over there tomorrow or Friday and try to pick one up.

Thanks again!
Martin.

Check out behringer's website for local dealers.

http://www.behringer.com/05_support/...y.cfm?lang=ENG

225 is around the old retail price from last year.

The new retail price is 189$ and Behringer is strick that their dealers do not discount. I managed to get a floor demo model with a couple of scratches around the mounting screws for 20 bucks off and free shipping from a dealer in Edmonton.

Thanks PaulT. Believe it or not, I looked for a dealer page on the website, but only could find the CDN distributor's info (who seems to ignore their email).

FWIW:

I have a Behringer "FBD" that is like new (it hasn't ben used, really, even though it was placed on the equipment rack) and which is available for sale. Cheaper than what you guys are talking about. If interested, PM me...

PaulT,

You know what? They added that page maybe an hour after I posted! Talk about making me look bad! :)

I'm going to walk over to Steve's during lunch today, and see if they have one in stock. Otherwise I'll drive to Long & McQuade in Mississauga tonight. If all else fails, I'll try hitting some of the stores on the dealer page (they are all inconveniently located).

As an aside, a friend told me I've got it all wrong. First, Steve's music are a bunch of liars so I shouldn't buy there, and second, Behringer steal other companies designs to save R&D costs. Thus making them evil. They apparently get sued for it all the time.

frank manrique,

Do you have a "musical" BFD, or one of the harsh ones? OK, just joshing ya! (Based on a past rant, directed at me, BTW!) The problem with buying over the border is the insane brokerage fees (and duty probably). It kills all savings. :frowning:

Thanks all!
Martin.
