I would definitely get the Special Edition of the original Rollerball. I love the film and it desperately needs an anamorphic release. The commentary on the existing disc is excellent, but I'm always interested in more extras.

Situations like these lead people to buy Region Free players, and later when an R1 release comes out, they get NO SALE.

A few months ago I gave up waiting, and ordered the Rollerball SE from Japan (Region 2, NTSC). It's great (both the transfer and the extras).

I can't fathom why Region 1 is being deprived.
