Does anyone know who currently holds the licensing for "Hard Target"? There was a Rumour that Anchor Bay was at one point going to do a full blown special Edition under a special Licensing agreement from Universal. What ever Happened to that?

Just a rumor, I think.

John Woo has been quoted as saying that the experience of making HARD TARGET and dealing with clueless Universal execs, the MPAA and Jean-Claude Van Damme is a still a pretty painful memory and one he isn't looking to revisit.

But hey, never say never, right?
