Does anyone have some information if Critters will ever make it to DVD? I would love to own this movie.

New Line released this, but I think Columbia owns the first 2 for home video, my VHS boxes appear that way.

I would assume that if they are New Line cinema property, it's only a matter of time, they don't have very many catalogue titles, compared to other studios.

Ditto on 1 and 2. I want these badly. They scared me to death as a child, but I'm sure I would get a good laugh out of them now.

Heh, I remmeber parts 1 and 2, but I remember several years ago walking through the VHS tapes at my video store and seeing that they made several more direct to video sequels. I think theyre up to part 5 or something.

I would definitely check out number 1, MAYBE 2...

I think they only made up to Critters 4 so far. Check out Critters 3 to see some early work by Leonardo DiCaprio. [IMG]
I'd love to have Parts 1 and 2 on DVD, though I'd probably skip the rest. If the studio isn't interested, they should give it to Anchor Bay. They could do a sweet little double pack like "House" and "House 2."

Critters 4 had an early performance by Angela Bassett!

I would pick up Critters 1 and 2 without hesitation. Always loved these films as a kid.

Count me in on this Critters bandwagon of love [IMG].
...I also second the notion of "Where's Ghoulies?"

I would buy Critters once it makes it to DVD. Critters 2-4 should also be avaliable on DVD. The Critters movies must be released in its OAR.

I would definitely buy the first two, and if the price is right at the store...IE $9.99 I'd pick up 3 & 4 to complete the collection.

I've only seen the first one, but if a box set of the whole series were released I'd definitely buy it! I don't expect many extras(except the trailers), but a commentary by Stephen Herek on the original would be cool. Bring 'em on!

Critters would be nice on DVD. I'd definitely get the first two, but pass on the next two. Let's hope New Line release it, or we could end up with bad cover art. Yes, Critters in a nice, shiny snapper, with original cover art.

Although I want original cover art whenever possible, if Anchor Bay did get ahold of these movies and butchered the coverart, I'm sure it would be all worth it because theyd probably make them 2 disc SEs with 16x9 anamorphic widescreen and DTS-EX soundtracks! [IMG]
