Where do you people buy it? What places have good prices?
Well you can get Formica at Home Depot if you can muster the patience to deal with that place. They should have a wall of samples (even though you are probably getting gloss black). If you want the Wilsonart, you'll have to go to kitchen supply/cabinetry or counter top dealer. You should check out the brushed metals from Wilsonart, they look insanely cool on speakers if done right, but they are hell expensive.
check these out too.
ya ron, i love the metals too, black or smoked polished aluminum looks so tough.
anthony, call or email the manufacturer and they will tell you the dealers in your area.
For decent prices and selection on WilsonArt laminates check out
Here in Ft Worth, TX, Home depot carries Wilsonart and not Formica brand, go figure... I used the Wilsonart a few months back to make new countertops and it looks like a good quality product.
The store I went to had a satin black in stock but not a gloss black.
Satin Black is just what I was considering to cover my 281s and my LCC...
I got mine from Revy. Turned out really nice too, check my website if you wanna see pics.
