Where do you look to find Easter Egg on DVD's (1 Viewer)

I have a question for you guys. Where do you go to find an Easter egg on DVD? I was reading on The Digital Bits, that Little Nicky has teaser trailer for Lord of the Ring for Fellowship. I would be grateful if you guy can help.

It's usually as simple as moving your remote's arrow control around in every possible direction from every possible menu item until something unexpected lights up.
Otherwise, it becomes a challenge to unravel something as devious as a hidden numerical code that has to be entered at a certain point. I still haven't figured out what the final secret code is on the Nightmare Series Encyclopedia that reveals the alternate ending (I just jump to that title directly).
