I used to use www.buy.com for every DVD purchase and they were always either the cheapest I could find or within a dollar.

Lately, every time I want to buy a movie I find buy.com is a couple dollars more than best buy or the local walmart.

So I am looking for some other e-tailers if some would share where they buy from. I miss the days of no tax and cheaper prices online. What is happening!!!

    I shop at: Buy.com, Amazon.com and Ebay

If your into collecting your favorite TV shows on DVD (like X-Files, Star Trek, etc), then Ebay is the best place to look. I just bought 2 brand new & sealed copies of Star Trek DS9 Season 2 & 3 for under $60 (They cost about $100 in stores). An excellent bargain.

I prefer quality service over trying to
    save a buck.

    http://www.lasersedge.com

Since that company sponsors this forum, we would
greatly appreciate that many of you buy your DVDs
directly through them. Lasers Edge helps foot the
bill to keep this forum running.

Please, guys, buy DVDs through this sponsor. They
may not be the cheapest, but I guarantee you will
    find no better on-line service.

EDIT: I was going to suggest another online retailer, but out of appreciation for this forum, I'll second Ron's suggestion instead.

I usually get my DVDs from Best Buy, Newbury Comics, and Wal-Mart. Since I don't have a credit card, I don't buy online.

i usually check out David Lambert's excellent contribution to HTF, his Weekly Roundup in the Coupons and Bargains section. unlike the early days of online dvd shopping(reel.com, anyone?), the B&M's often have the best prices on release day.
