Well I've been researching just about everything I can so I can build my sub. I've decided on a tempest and have the software adire provides but can't seem to come up with a good design. I am going to be using a marantz monoblock(MA-700) which provides 200 watts and I already have a Energy EAC active crossover. It has 24db low pass and is variable from 50 to 150hz. it also has phase adjustments and level control. I ve input all room sizes and such but having problems with cabinet size and port size. I am trying to get it tuned to 20hz or lower and will be building a traditional box.
So if anyone has any starting dimensions I could work with I would be in your debt. tanks a bunch

What exactly is the problem? I'd recommend you download the LspCAD .box files for the Tempest apps from the Adire site, that'll at least get you started.
