on polk audio speakers? I have some good links for JBL stuff but haven't been able to find similar online discounts for the Polk line.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did quite a bit of searching last night and wasn't able to find anything. I'm still open to suggestions on these.

I'm starting to lean toward the Polks, one because I really enjoyed the sound when I heard them and two, the rear's come in white, which my wife would let me use instead of inwalls in our living room.

Polk is a HEAVILY protected line, it is done to support the dealers who need to cover the associated overhead costs of maintaining a demoing environment. I don't think you'll have much luck on-line (legitimately) as they have sued Crazy Eddie , and others , for substantial amounts of money for interfering with their dealer contracts.

Josh,

Going through a local retailer, I was able to secure some pretty good discounts on my RTi speakers in the range of 33%. Heck, I even beat out the prices they were going for on eBay from unauthorized sources.

Check your local retailers, I'm sure someone will be able to work with you on the prices.

Outpost.com is not an authorized dealer, but they have outstanding prices on the older R series stuff right now. I picked up a pair of R50s from them and I love them.
