Now that Lucas has reconfirmed his intentions to not release the Star Wars Trilogy in DVD until 2006, I'm interested in buying it in VHS. No, I'm not happy about it, but I only own the orignal trilogy in Pan & Scan. Not only that, but I've never actually seen any of the Trilogy in it's orignal 2.35:1 glory. So I've never actually SEEN Star Wars, as far as I'm concerned.
I've tried local retailers, but they only have the P&S box set that was released last November. Online retailers like Amazon.com don't even have that. Where else should I look?

I saw a couple of the widescreen sets at my local Border's. I am tempted to pick up one myself. I just hope my VCR still works [IMG]

Original or SE? The SE's are getting tougher, but I've seen them at a few smaller shops and used shops (half price books, pawn shops). The original's are a little (lot) tougher. For those eBay is probably the best bet.

You haven't see the Star Wars trilogy until you've watched them in widescreen. You are missing a crap load of REVELANT screen information. As for finding them? Check EVERY premium video store.

I have the 1995 widescreen box set unopened. It's the last set they put out before the Special Editions.
