where can i find out why port #2 on my router (linksys) does not work! (1 Viewer)

No matter what i do, port #2 on my router does not work! I have 4 different computers and none of them work on that port!

edited to add
-- the top light blinks at a really rapid rate (Link/Act). The other lights underneath stay solid, and its model number befsr41 version 2. --

Why is it doing that and how can i fix it?

On my hub I can't use port 1 if something is connected to my uplink port. Maybe for some reason on your router it is port 2? Just a guess

I have the same problem with port 1 on my Linksys BEFSR41 Ver.2 router. Nothing in the uplink port either. I can't figure it out.
Luckily I have a wireless network and a 4-port switch (at that end) so I still have a few open ports.

Perhaps the port is simply broken. Call Linksys, they'll probably replace the unit for you.
