Other than Sharper Image. I've heard terrible things about them (Sharper Image, that is).

    Any place online?

    Thanks

I got mine from www.outpost.com, which is affilated with Fry's electronics. It isn't listed on their website, though, you have to call and see if they still have it in stock. That is what I had to do. I got mine with no trouble about a month or so ago. Pretty good player.

As long as they ship the product you order and fulfill their return policy in necessary, what's the problem with Shaper Image?

Go to www.epinions.com and search for the xp-30. You'll see Sharper Image listed. Check out the reviews the store gets.

At this point, you probably won't have a lot of choices. The XP30 is discontinued and is in short supply. If you want one, you better go with one when you find it.

All I can say is that it seems a lot of people around the audio/video forums have ordered the XP30 from them and I haven't read any complaints. Caveat emptor.

You could always check out froogle. I picked one up from dmart stores for $196 after shipping. I received it two days after purchase.

    I'm pleased overall.

It also looks like Dmart has raised to $200 + shipping.

I picked the player at Sharper Image. I found a store near me. So, far it's great. I haven't hooked it up yet but it looks real nice! I'm waiting for my refurb H/K 525.

    Thi,

Yes. The last letter in Panasonic models represents color with 's' being silver. It is pointless with the XP30 since that's the only available color.

well I can tell you plasma.com is very good. My good friend works there. I've been in a few times to check out some projectors. (also fun to play with all there plasma displays) There all good people, if you are looking to order from them ask for Steve. [IMG]
