Recently I was told that the Korean versions of The Patriot (w/Mel Gibson), Rules Of Engagement, and The Watcher included English full-bitrate DTS audio tracks. Unfortunately, I no longer have the email with this info. Does anyone know where I can buy these DVDs? And if so, can you verify if they are all anamorphic and if the latter two include the extras from the R1 discs?

Korean DVDs are VERY hard to find exporters of. Every person I know who's tried has gotten their order cancelled and money refunded
R3 HK discs can be had at- http://www.dddhouse.com
I know they have many DTS discs of US flicks

    Chad,
You might want to check out http://www.dvdshelf.com they have a lot of R3 DTS discs like Driven, Angel Eyes, Dungeons and Dragons, The Watcher, Dracula 2000 and many others. You can view their site in English by clicking on the tab above the login box. I've ordered from them a few times and have had excellent service. With a lot of R3 discs you get non-anamorphic transfers (most are very good transfers though) and full-rate DTS tracks. The Watcher is one that is non-anamorphic but has a great full-rate DTS track. I've heard Driven and Dungeons and Dragons are Anamorphic but I won't know for sure till I get the discs early next week. But for me a DTSphile it's worth it to spend $7 dollars to see how the DTS track sounds. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the links but it seems those two etailers aren't great with the technical info. One of them has Rules Of Engagement DTS but it doesn't say "DTS" and doesn't specify anamorphic or not in the description of the disc. The other has The Watcher but says nothing of DTS and 16:9 enhancement. [IMG]

Just email them, they'll tell you whatever you need to know
http://www.asiandvdguide.com may have details on the titles, but they mostly concentrate on HK native releases
