A friend told me about this dvd that optimizes your t.v, however, I called a few home theater stores in town and they didn't know where to buy one. Thanks!

Many specialist DVD retail outlets carry these discs, as do all of the major online e-tailers.

The two most popular calibration discs are Video Essentials and The AVIA Guide to Home Theater (I personally prefer AVIA). There are also several others to choose from, such as The Ultimate DVD series (silver, gold and platinum) and the Sound & Vision Home Theater Tune Up.

You should be able to find one at places like Best Buy, Circuit City, Radio Shack etc.

I've seen Avia at my BB but they were charging MSRP. Buy online or at ebay.
